A current sensor forms part of a system that also includes the conductor, power supply and acquisition equipment. Planning these connections together helps define the mounting position, signal path and method of reading the current measurement.

Selection and connections

Confirm whether the conductor can pass through the sensor or requires an opening structure. Then check output type, power supply and acquisition interface. Current output and voltage output versions require their respective connection arrangements.
